REMINDER Asya's mixed media exhibit opens at the Red Victorian tonight.

Asya Abdrahman mixed media artist and curator's I AM HUMAN exhibit is a fictional art installation. Other's wring their hands about issues homelessness, refugee crisis (the same thing actually,) inhumanity ( the same thing again.) -- Asya uses what she has -- her enormous talent-- to address and change the circumstances.
About this new exhibit Asya says,"Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are the products of the artist’s imagination used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead or actual events is purely coincidental and skewed by your biased worldview.
"When the deep freeze of helplessness sets in, a light appears to warm the heart. With the deepest gratitude for the beauty in this world, I unfreeze my frozen soul and maybe yours if you value a little thaw… the light that shines through… soft simple & lenient"
My home is graced by several of Asya Abdrahman's works and I will definitely be at this opening.
