Dr. September Williams is a Black physician-author, bioethicist, and sometimes filmmaker. She WRITES and TALKS about : The power of narrative, written and on screen, to reflect and illuminate bioethical concerns. Her work is about medicine and science at the intersection of struggles for health equity, environmental justice and human rights. She also clarifies what bioethics is, how it became ‘a thing’ and how the discipline can be used to think about complex clinical problems related to the biosphere.
